HO CHI MINH OPEN VIETNAM STUDENTS VISIT INDONUSA CAMPUS
Solo – Vice Director 3 accompanied by the Cooperation Unit and Public Relations and Publication Unit of Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta welcomed a visit from students participating in the Student Exchange and International Competition program from Ho Chi Minh Open University, Vietnam. Held at Seminar Room 2 of Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta’s campus, on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023, a total of 20 students, accompanied by 2 lecturers and 1 staff member from Ho Chi Minh Open University, visited the campus from 09:00 to 11:00 AM. During their visit, the students from Ho Chi Minh Open University showed great enthusiasm in learning about Indonesian culture, particularly Javanese culture in the city of Surakarta. They were invited to observe and witness the learning process at Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta. Coincidentally, there was a cooking practice session by Hospitality Diploma 3 (D3) students in the kitchen laboratory, and the visiting students were invited to join in cooking together, which they thoroughly enjoyed, expressed Vice Director 3 while accompanying the visit. As a vocational campus where practical courses have a significant portion compared to theoretical courses, the students from Ho Chi Minh Open University were delighted to have the opportunity to try various practical activities conducted by Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta’s students. In addition to the Kitchen Lab, they were also taken to visit the Television and Radio Lab, as well as the Network and Computer Lab, located in Building B of Politeknik Indonusa Surakarta’s campus.
