Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta Develops Digital Media Management for Women Farmers Group

Solo – MBKM is a Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka, this program is a policy of the Minister of Education and Culture in 2020. Students of the D3 Mass Communication Study Program semester IV in June carried out the Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) KKN Independent Village Project to develop digital media management in Women Farmers Group. There are 4 groups spread across Surakarta and Sukoharjo regencies. In Surakarta, it is located in the villages of Joglo and Pucangsawit, while those in Sukoharjo Regency are in the Trangsan and Nguter areas.

With the MBKM, it is hoped that it will create a new paradigm in education, including higher education. In this program, students can choose from eight MBKM programs offered by the ministry, where in this program students are given the opportunity to attend lectures outside the study program at the same university for one semester or the equivalent of 20 credits.

Under the guidance of Lecturer A.Anditha Sari, S.Sos, M.I.Kom and Maharani Ayuningtyas, M.I.kom, the MBKM activities for the Thematic KKN Village Project carried out by Mass Communication Students took the form of develop digital media, creating logos and social media such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Through social media, information about the activities and products of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) can be widely known by the public. For example, cocodema produced by KWT Pucangsawit or Jancuk drink from KWT Trangsan and telang flower syrup from KWT Joglo.

On the occasion of the 2021 Independent Learning Campus Award (MBKM) held by LLDIKTI Region VI, Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta won 1st place in the Polytechnic/University category. This has become a spirit for Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta to continue to excel and be a role model for other universities in implementing MBKM in the teaching and learning process on campus.

New student registration at the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year is entering wave 2, there are a variety of class choices at the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta, namely morning classes, evening classes, transfer classes and employee classes. For students who work in the morning, they can take evening classes from 17.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB. You can also take employee classes with lectures only twice a week with a shortened travel period.
