Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta Holds International Webinar Entitled Smart Collaboration of Entrepreneurship and Technology For New Normal Era

Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta successfully held an international entrepreneurship webinar with the theme Smart Collaboration of Entrepreneurship and Technology for the New Normal Era on Monday (7/03/2022). This webinar was held in collaboration with Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta, BTN Syariah Surakarta, Universiti Teknik Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and the Taiwan Mobile Commerce Association (TMCA).

The webinar is held online via the Zoom application and live from the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic Official YouTube channel at 09.00 – 15.00 WIB. This webinar presents speakers from three countries, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safiah Sidek (Dean of the Institute for Technology Management and Entrepreneurship at Universiti Teknik Malaysia Melaka), Ti Yu-Chang (manager of TMCA’s foreign department), Canggih Ajika Pamungkas, M.Kom (Lecturer of Information Systems Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta). The webinar was officially opened by the Director of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM and guided by moderator Makmun Syaifudin, M.Pd. In the material Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safiah Sidek said that entrepreneurship education must integrate knowledge and skills to use digital technology. Meanwhile, Ti Yu-Chang offers students in Indonesia for internships in Taiwan and online mandarin training. Then, a resource person from Indonesia, Canggih Ajika Pamungkas, M.Kom conveyed the implications of artificial intelligence for business creation in the new normal era.

According to the head of the organizer, Norma Puspitasari, M.Pd, the webinar, which was attended by around 500 participants from various countries, aims to provide a complete instillation of the value of collaboration between entrepreneurship and technology to participants who take part in the webinar so that they can be developed. In addition, this webinar is held to improve the quality of Universities, Lecturers, Students as well as to increase insight, confidence in the field of entrepreneurship and increase collaboration between Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta and Universities at home and abroad.

In this webinar, the Independent Campus Independent Learning (MBKM) activity was also closed at the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic and also the announcement of the winners for the 2021/2022 MBKM award with finalists from all study programs at the Indonusa Polytechnic. Surakarta. In this MBKM Awards there are 8 types of Activities, including Student Exchange, Internships or Job Training, Teaching Assistants in Education Units, Research, Humanitarian Projects, Entrepreneurial Activities, Independent Studies or Projects, Village Building or Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKNT). In the 2021/2022 MBKM Awards, the Information Systems D3 study program won 1st place, 2nd place from the Automotive Technology D3 study program, and the 3rd place went to the Pharmacy D3 study program. In addition to the 2021/2022 MBKM award, this activity also featured presentations of winners of the E-Business award from students of the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta Information System study program. The E-Business award at the Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta will be held in the 2021/2022 academic year.
