Preparing Students to Carry Out Industrial Practices with Soft Skills and Hard Skills

As one of the Study Programs at the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta, Information Management wants thorough preparation for D3 Informatics Management students by holding outreach on Industrial Practices (PI) and also motivation for Informatics Management students to face the real world of work.

In mentally preparing students, the Informatics Management Study Program also wants to prepare students appearance so that they can be attractive and be able to adjust their appearance while doing industrial practice, therefore D3 Informatics Management collaborates with Wardah Cosmetics to provide tutorials in the form of Beauty Classes to support students appearance during practice Industry or even entering the real world of work.

This activity was held on Saturday, February 15, 2020. This activity purpose to prepare and provide guidance on Industrial Practice 1 and 2 to Informatics Management students batch 2018 and 2019.

In this activity, material on Industrial Practices was delivered by Mrs. Norma Puspitasari, M.Pd, as the leader of the Industrial Practice course in Information Management. Then also conveyed the motivation by Mr. Edy Susanto, M.Kom to motivate the students before going into the industrial world. Then the last event was the Beauty Class by Wardah Cosmetics which provided facial and appearance care procedures so that students could look neat and well when entering the world of work. In addition to material carriers, this activity also involved D3 Information Management Students to assist in the smooth running of this Industrial Practice Preparation activity. This activity went on smoothly and felt very beneficial for students because they got a lot of useful soft skills and hard skills.
