National Teacher's Day

National Teacher’s Day (NTD) is commemorated again on November 25, 2020. The determination of NTD itself is related to the history of the establishment of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI). The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) has issued letter Number 115583 / MPK.A / TU / 2020 concerning the Guidelines for Commemoration of National Teachers’ Day 2020. The letter contains provisions on a number of things including flag ceremonies, logos and memorial themes, to various activities . The theme of this year’s NTD commemoration is “Awakening the Spirit to Realize Independent Learning”. This year’s Teacher’s Day is commemorated in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the countless fatigue of teachers, educators, and students studying during the pandemic. National Teacher’s Day can be a moment for mutual appreciation.
