1st Place in Adult Female Pair of Virtual Pencak Silat Festival
Surakarta – Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic students again won 1st place in Female Adult Pairs in the National Level Self Shield Virtual Pencak Silat Festival and 2021 Overseas Invitations organized by Perisai Diri, Jakarta City Centre. The students are Nurul Istiqomah and Cahya Hanifah, students of the D3 Communications study program in the class of 2020.
The Indonesian National Pencak Silat Family, Perisai Diri, as one of the martial arts colleges in Indonesia, is an active university that gives a beautiful color to the world of Indonesian silat. The Indonesian National Pencak Silat Family Perisai Diri, which was founded by RM Soebandiman Dirjoatmojo, has enlivened the world of Indonesian silat since its establishment in 1955 until now by participating in various forms of championships and festivals held at the lowest sub-district level to the highest level, namely International. In his training, Perisai Diri, in addition to forming fighters who are proficient in martial arts, is also trying to form fighters with BUDI LUHUR characters.
The Pencak Silat Festival in the Indonesian National Silat Family Perisai Diri is a new thing, because in its implementation the silat technique that is carried out must be accompanied by music so that there is harmony between the silat movements and the music that accompanies it and becomes a beautiful display of Pencak Silat art.
