Commemorating International Disability Day

International Disability Day (IDH), which is always commemorated every December 3, was determined by United Nations (UN) Number 47/3 of 1992, and was previously known as International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Disability its means that there is a disturbance in the condition of the body and mind that makes it difficult for a person to carry out activities and interact with the people around there. The theme of International Disability Day of this year is “Building Back Better: toward a disability inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 world”.

Polytechnic Indonusa of Surakarta also commemorates International Disability Day 2020. Together strengthen respect and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities.
