Surakarta – As the name implies, the D3 Automotive Technology major is one of the Indonusa Polytechnic study programs that will study all methods and processes in the operation and manufacture of vehicles that operate on land, such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, trains, and buses. Automotive technology graduates do not only work in workshops, because they master a wide range of knowledge from technical design and design, development, production and maintenance, the job opportunities will be very broad. Automotive graduates have the knowledge to design vehicles both in terms of the engine and body. For this reason, not only working directly with machines in the field, many automotive technology graduates also work behind computers as maintenance planners, engineers and designers. The D3 Automotive Technology study program at the Indonusa Polytechnic Surakarta has been accredited B, opening regular classes (morning) and employee classes. Employee class is opened for prospective students who have worked at least 2 years in a workplace relevant to the automotive study program (Head of Workshop, Automotive Industry Supervisor, Automotive Lab, etc.). The education period for the employee class is 2 years (4 semesters).

The D3 Automotive Technology study program is equipped with an Automotive Design Laboratory, an Automotive Electrical Laboratory, a Power Transfer System Laboratory, a Body Painting Laboratory, a Motorcycle Laboratory, and an Engine Laboratory.
