Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta Joined in PELITA

Surakarta – Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta participated in the PELITA meeting which was held on Friday (20/5/22). PELITA is a private polytechnics association in Indonesia. PELITA is declared as an organizational forum that accommodates all private polytechnics from parts of Indonesia.

The gathering, which was held in Tegal City, place at the Harapan Bangsa Polytechnic as a member of PELITA. Director of Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta, Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM said, “There were 31 directors from private polytechnics in Indonesia who attended and participated in declaring PELITA Indonesia. Starting from the tip of Indonesia, there are polytechnics from Aceh, to polytechnics from South Sulawesi”.

Meanwhile, the association started with the idea of ​​four polytechnics, including the Harber Tegal Polytechnic, the Tempo Jakarta Polytechnic, the Jakarta LP3I Polytechnic, and the Bekasi Bina Madani Polytechnic. So that all polytechnics in Indonesia agreed to realize the organization. Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta also did not miss to join in order to expand the network that can be reached between universities.

The purpose of the establishment of the private polytechnics association in Indonesia can help each other and interact with each other, cooperate, and collaborate to improve the quality of superior vocational higher education in Indonesia. With the formation of PELITA Indonesia, it is also hoped that it can become a forum to support and carry out programs made by the government.

The Director of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, added “Being present as one of the representatives of vocational universities from Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta is a valuable experience, so we hope that from this association we can get many other valuable things”.
