Ngabuburit Full of Blessings with Polinus

This Ramadan 1443 Hijriyah, at the same time the pandemic has not ended even though vaccination efforts continue to be spread to the public. Nevertheless, the spirit to welcome and revive the month of Ramadan does not necessarily go out.

Surakarta – Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta (Polinus) held activities that are very familiar with the holy month of Ramadan, namely “Bukber” aka breaking fast and “Ngabuburit”. Ngabuburit is an activity waiting for the Maghrib call to prayer before breaking the fast, the activities can be in the form of many things, such as walking, playing, chatting, looking for free takjil, visiting the culinary market or spending time in the park.

“In this holy month, it is time for us to share the blessings of Ramadan with others, therefore the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta is holding the Ngabuburit Ramadan activity, where one of the series of activities is sharing takjil. This activity is open to the public, especially the residents of Solo,” said the Director of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM., Tuesday (19/4/22).

This time Ngabuburit Polinus was covered and aired by the Surakarta television station, TATV. Ngabuburit takes place in the lobby of the 1st campus Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta and is open to the public for residents around the city of Surakarta starting at 16.00 WIB.

The series of ngabuburit activities are, Khataman Al Qur’an which is held in the morning to start campus activities, recitation of Polinus lecturer staff, live music, live cooking with D3 Hospitality students who cook 3 menus namely Prawn Nestum Croquette, Soto Semarang, and Sumsum Pandan Oats. Besides, there are also Jejamons which are the products of the D3 Pharmacy study program students, a talk show with the director of Polinus, and then before breaking the fast together there is a takjil to share other people in front of the Polinus campus, then the activity is closed by breaking the fast together. The breaking of the fast was attended by the entire Polytechnic academic community who participated in the activities of the month of Ramadan.

This activity is certainly very meaningful for the academic community of the Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta in particular, with the various series of activities that have been passed as a place to take a break from the tiredness of work, as well as take advantage of activities in the month that provide many blessings with positive activities and a place to stay in touch with each other lecturers, students and the community.
