The Promise and Character Debriefing for Health Study Program Students

Solo – Saturday (20/11) as many as 88 D3 Pharmacy students and 107 S1 students of Applied Health Information Management at the Indonusa Polytechnic Surakarta participated in the Promise and Character Debriefing activity at Sahid Hotel Surakarta. The debriefing activity is a routine agenda for the study program before releasing students for Industrial Practice in hospitals, health centers, health offices, pharmacies and industries. The character briefing was delivered by resource persons Ayu Rimbawati as the Manager of Kimia Farma Jebres Pharmacy Surakarta and Aris Widiyoko as Head of Medical Records at PKU Muhamadiyah Hospital Surakarta.

The debriefing activity was opened with the academic report of each Head of the Study Program then and continued with a greeting from the Director of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM. In his speech, Suci conveyed to students to remain enthusiastic even though Industrial Practice is still in an atmosphere of the Covid-19 Pandemic. “Always play an active role in industrial practice locations and improve soft skills because in the world of work soft skills are the key to open the door to success in a career.”

In the Promise and Character Debriefing activities, awards were also given to outstanding students with the highest Grade Point Average from the D3 Pharmacy Study Program, namely Nabila Nurhaliza Islami, Amartya Firdha and Maudy Nur Alfani, as well as from the Applied Health Information Management S1 study program, namely Hanifah Shobri Sulistyati. , Ery Syabilla Putri and Zahra Anggara Aztiza.

Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta currently has six study programs that have been accredited A and B, namely S1 applied Health Information Management, D3 Pharmacy, D3 Information Systems, D3 Communication, D3 Automotive Technology, and D3 Hospitality.
