XVI Graduation of the Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta
The Open Senate for the 16th Graduation of Associate Experts at the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic for the 2020/2021 Academic Year, with the theme “Optimistic Steps Towards Global Competitiveness INDONUSA”
Solo – Thursday (11/04/21) The Polytechnic held an offline Senate for the 16th Graduation Academic Year 2020/2021 offline which took place at the Ballroom HARRIS Hotel & Conventions Solo which was divided into two sessions, the first session at 08.00 WIB to 10.30 WIB for D3 Information Systems, Communication, and Automotive Technology study programs, for the second session starting at 11.00 WIB until 13.30 WIB, D3 Hospitality and D3 Pharmacy study programs. The graduation procession is also held online for graduates who are unable to go offline via Zoom Meeting.
There are 297 graduates from five study programs (prodi) who have officially become Associate Diploma III Experts, as many as 37 graduates from the Automotive Technology D3 Study Program, 60 graduates from the Information Systems D3 Study Program, 48 graduates from the Communication D3 Study Program, 60 graduates from the Hospitality D3 Study Program , 92 graduates from the D3 Pharmacy Study Program, and as many as 66 graduates/ti of whom graduated with cum laude predicate.
In the graduation ceremony, the Head of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) Region VI Central Java, Prof. Dr. Ir. Zainuri DEA and the chairman of the Indonesian Foundation to Build Surakarta, Dr. Singgih Purnomo, MM, and the parents of the graduates.
That day became a sacred and special moment for the academic community of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic because the graduation was carried out in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic which had not yet ended, requiring all parties to continue to apply strict health protocols during the graduation procession.
The essence of true education is not only educating oneself alone, knowledge is only useful if it is used to serve the community. This became a suggestion from the Director of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM for the graduates.
