Alumni Gathering, Open Recruitment, and ASN Preparation of 2021 Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta

Surakarta – Sunday (30/05/2021) Career Center & Tracer Study of Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta, chaired by Drs. Sudarmaji, MM, held an Alumni Gathering, Open Recruitment & Preparation for ASN 2021. With the theme “Dari Alumni, Oleh Alumni, Untuk Alumni”, the event was attended by approximately 50 alumni from the first batch of Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta, namely the year 2002 until the newest batch of 2017. The Alumni Gathering was held in the Hall of Campus II of the Indonusa Polytechnic, Surakarta, from 09.00 WIB to 12.00 WIB.

In accordance with the theme raised, at the alumni gathering, 4 alumni were selected to be speakers for other alumni, including Distiano Anggid Prasadana, alumni of class 2016 from the D3 Communication study program who has worked at TATV Solo, Mikhael Yon Setyadi, a D3 alumni. Communication who has worked at Panti Waluyo Hospital, Bryan Maryanto, a D3 Communications graduate who has worked at ROSIN Solo, and Sabihisma Wahyuilahi, a D3 Information System alumni who has passed to become the Semarang City ASN. The alumni representative provided an overview, experience, and knowledge for other alumni who are still looking for work and will try ASN 2021.

The follow-up of this event is the formation of an online group on WhatsApp as a medium for exchanging information between campuses and alumni, as well as among alumni. As conveyed by deputy director 3, Pak Edy Susanto, M.Kom, the continuation of this alumni gathering is one of which is to reorganize the alumni association (IKA), so that the relationship between the campus and alumni is maintained. Then, it also discussed the ASN training plan which will be carried out every month to help alumni prepare for ASN 2021 registration.

The alumni gathering is expected to be a forum for alumni of the Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta to get to know other alumni from various levels, to share information and work experiences, and of course to help encourage the progress of their beloved campus.
