Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta Receives Best 1 MBKM Award in the Best College/Private Polytechnic Category in Central Java
Surakarta – Director of Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta Mrs. Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM attended an invitation from the Region VI Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) in the 2021 Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) event on Monday (23/8/21) in Building B, LLDIKTI Regional VI Office, Bendan Dhuwur Semarang. Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta won the Best 1 MBKM Award for the High School/Polytechnic Category in the 2021 Independent Campus Learning Award (MBKM) organized by LLDIKTI Region VI.
The MBKM Award is held as a form of appreciation for LLDIKTI Region VI to private universities that have implemented MBKM policies in their respective institutions. “One of the goals of holding the MBKM Award is to improve the quality of higher education in Central Java,” said Dr Lukman.
Dr Lukman also explained that the assessment was based on reports of 8 Key Performance Indicators (KPI) conducted by each PTS, then the weighting of the 8 KPIs, namely KPI 1 Graduates get a decent job (20%), KPI2 Students get experience outside campus (15%), IKU 3 Lecturers are active outside campus (8%), IKU 4 Practitioners teach on campus (8%). Furthermore, KPI 5 Lecturers’ work results are used by the community (12%), KPI 6 Study Programs in collaboration with world-class partners (15%), KPI 7 Collaborative and participatory Classes (7%), and KPI 8 Study Programs with international standards (15% ).
Prof. Dr. Ir Muhammad Zainuri DEA, Head of LLDIKTI Region VI in his speech said that Universities are required to carry out transformation, be active in the process of innovation, creation, and collaboration with stakeholders.
LLDIKTI Region VI awarded the MBKM Award to universities in the form of the “Astha Udhra” Trophy which has a noble 8 (eight) philosophy, which means 8 KPIs with the noble goal of producing superior human resources.
Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic has successfully organized the MBKM program by implementing the 8 KPIs above, it is proven that Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic has produced quality human resources who are able to compete in the industrial world and are able to get jobs according to their fields, organize student internship programs for all study programs as a form of student real work practice In the industrial world, there are many practicing lecturers from various industries, knowledge and tangible evidence of students and alumni of entrepreneurship, as well as students who excel in practical science who master hard skills and soft skills.
The Best Award 1 for the High School/Polytechnic Category received by the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic in the 2021 MBKM Award is certainly a new spirit for the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic to continue to stand as a vocational college that accommodates students to equip themselves for the future, able to compete in the national and international industrial world. .
This achievement is certainly one of the most beautiful gifts for the 19th Anniversary of the Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic, which fell on August 2, 2021 yesterday.
