Become 1st Place in Virtual Culinary Competition

Surakarta – Student of Indonusa Polytechnic of Surakarta Hospitality D3 student, Charisma Tiara, won 1st Place in the Virtual Culinary Competition with the theme “Unique Innovation and Creation” organized by the Mandala Bhakti Surakarta Tourism Academy on August 15, 2021.

In this competition, Charisma Tiara processed Gembili Bulbs into an attractive putu cake, the cake she made was named “Putu Bambu Umbi Gembili Cake”.

“I chose Gembeli Bulbs because I want to introduce again to teenagers and the public about Gembili Bulbs, I’m sure many don’t know about Gembili Bulbs, even though there are so many benefits. I combined it with sponge cake, because the bamboo putu cake is rarely known to the public, and at the same time I want to bring back childhood snacks.” Obviously Charisma Tiara.

Charisma Tiara also invites fellow students to continue to be enthusiastic about learning, innovating and being creative with their expertise, giving them the enthusiasm to make achievements on their beloved campus.
