Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic Held Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTM)

Surakarta – Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM) is currently being discussed hotly in Education Units and Indonesian society, including Polytechnic Indonusa. To realize this policy, it is necessary to have a thorough study and preparation because the most important thing is the safety of students in the Higher Education environment.

Following up on the circular letter of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 4 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Face-to-face Learning for the Academic Year of 2021/2022. Based on the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Number 03/KB/2021, Number 384 of 2021, Number HK.01..08/MENKES/4242/2021, and Number 440- 717 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Learning in the Pandemic Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), hereby Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta is ready to hold limited Face-to-face Learning starting in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

Exactly today Monday (04/10/2021) Indonusa Surakarta Polytechnic began to hold limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM) for semester 1 students from all study programs. Since this morning, students started arriving to do PTM according to a predetermined schedule.

“Today we have started Distance Learning for semester 1 students from all study programs. However, the process is still very strict, one of which is that students are prohibited from gathering outside class hours,” explained Ir. Suci Purwandari, MM as Director of Polytechnic Indonusa Surakarta.

Before the implementation of the limited PTM, there are several requirements that must be met by students, namely, for students from outside the city (besides Solo, Sragen, Boyolali, Klaten, Karanganyar, Sukoharjo), when taking offline lectures are expected to bring the results of an antigen swab (the swab results are valid 1× 24 hours), a statement letter (for those who have not been vaccinated), and a letter of permission from parents to take offline lectures (other than the results of the swab all required documents have been shared with the class leader).

“We have to make sure students from outside the region are in good health and have carried out a 14-day self-quarantine or swab test,” said Ir. Suci Purwandari MM.

Health protocols will still be observed when students are on campus such as students who feel unwell are advised to go home and are prohibited from going to campus to take online lectures and are required to notify the lecturer according to the schedule, before entering the lecture room they are required to check the temperature and check the required documents on campus. front security section and must follow other prokes while on campus.
