One of the questions from Mr. Edy Susena, M.Kom, is how to make people aware so that waste can be managed independently?

Mrs. Sri sudarini, S.Pd explained, “To make people aware that they can be managed independently, starting from self-awareness first, from self-awareness we can invite others to be aware of waste. Get in the habit of throwing trash in its place. Avoid throwing garbage in any place such as on the roadside or in a clean environment. If you have household waste, collect it and then throw it in a landfill.”

He also added, “Apply 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in daily life. Reduce, namely using environmentally friendly goods, for example going shopping with your own shopping bag to reduce the amount of plastic circulating. Reuse is reusing the things we use, for example using drinking water bottles that can be taken to travel instead of buying mineral water which will increase plastic bottle waste. Then Recycle is recycling items that are no longer used, for example recycling used bottles to be used as decorations or hydroponic plants.”
